From the young to the young at heart, couples, families, honeymooners and international guests, Long Island Resort boasts a range of activities to suit everyone.

Provided is a list of cruises, tours and activities that operate on a daily or regular basis. For your convenience, the majority of the day cruises and tours provide a pick up service direct from our pontoon. Please confirm times and details at the time of booking.

Our friendly Tour Desk staff are on hand to provide any advice or assistance you may require. Bookings for any cruises, tours and activities can be made at the Tour Desk in the Resort Store and charged back to your room account for convenience. Cash and Credit Card facilities are also provided. Please contact 07 4946 9400 to contact the Resort Store for further information or to book prior to arrival.

To enjoy a more relaxed setting when choosing the ideal cruise, tour or activity join us for complimentary fruit punch, cheese and fruits at our Greet, Eat and Meet (GEM) Party! Held everyday at 5.00pm on the Sandbar decking we invite you to join our Tour Desk staff for advice and assistance. It is also a wonderful opportunity to talk to other guests and trade previous experiences.

REEF WORLD

Voyage to the heart of the Great Barrier Reef daily aboard Fantasea’s comfortable air-conditioned high speed catamaran. Located on the edge of Hardy Reef, Reefworld is 39 nautical miles from the Whitsunday Coast.

Your day begins cruising through the sheltered waters of the beautiful Whitsunday Islands, through the Coral Sea and on to Hardy Reef. On entering the wide channel between the massive adjoining coral reefs you arrive at Reefworld, the largest floating facility on the Great Barrier Reef.

One Day BLUE PEARL BAY Snorkelling Adventure

A two hour sail from the mainland, Blue Pearl Bay boasts some spectacular fringing reef. See beautiful coral and thousands of tropical fish in waist deep water just metres from the beach. For the more adventurous, a short paddle brings you to spectacular coral bommies and the largest Blue Pearl Bay residents like Maori Wrasse and Coral Trout. Snorkelling is supervised and for the inexperienced, instruction is available on board. All snorkelling gear is supplied free of charge. Diving is also available.

A delicious buffet lunch is served on board before the sail home via the Whitsunday Passage. Enjoy a gourmet afternoon platter is served during the return to the mainland.
